Volunteering & Community

jannrob!nson in her Community

One particularly interesting entry for community found in Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines community as 3 a : joint ownership or participation.  Is this not the definition which embodies the collective compassion of many in neighborhoods and burrows all over this great nation?

A sense of community and responsibility for other’s compels one to push themselves aside for a time, forgetting about their current circumstances and stand for causes, missions, and goals which bring about the success and sustainability of the whole.  Community are those people who invest in efforts which advance their family and their region, making a lasting impact on the world as a whole.  Be an active, contributing partner in your community today.
